With the love of ink
I don’t always use ink, even though it is often at least a part of the process. But it somehow sums up what is “my style”.
The not-perfect. The authentic. The simple. And yet complicated. The right feeling. The contrasts. That’s me.
Lisa Kriga
Illustrator, writer and creator
I grew up in a small village, 25 km from a small town (Luleå) in the north of Sweden. My dad went hunting, fishing, crafted in wood and cultivated what my mum cooked and cared for. We used wood for heating (combined with solar panels), furniture and kitchen utensils. Mum sewed, knitted and wove both clothes and household items.
It was a life close to nature, with gratitude for nature, and more sustainable. Not only for the environment, but also for people.
Creation has remained important to me. Whether it has been crafting, painting, singing, writing… And after a few years lost in the world of business administration, I returned to it.
The love for my Norrbotten heritage is something I bring with me in everything I do. I hope it shines through.
Do you like what I do and want to do magic together?
